McConnell for Vallejo Mayor 2020
Overview
Robert McConnell is a veteran in Vallejo politics and highly qualified for the job of Mayor. McConnell understands the corruption, what works and does not work, has fresh ideas that are realistic and can be implemented in the near term, has a positive can-do attitude, has been through Vallejo’s financial turmoil in the past, has proven his dedication to Vallejo through decades of service, and is a professional bankruptcy attorney. Vallejo could not ask for a better Mayoral candidate at this point in time.
Robert McConnell’s competitors Hakeem Brown and Kenneth Keeney are not quite at the same level as Robert. Hakeem has only served two years at city hall and has come across a bit narrowly focused. I fear Hakeem does not see the big picture as he lacks the experience needed to run the city. Keeney has an education background and plans to focus on bringing jobs to Vallejo. Keeney though, again, is just not quite at the level of McConnell. Vallejo cannot take any chances with all the obstacles our future faces. Overall, this is a no-brainer…
