Cristina Arriola for District 6 Council

Overview

“Adopted and raised in South Vallejo, the southernmost portion of District 6, I attended the College of Marin and the American Conservatory Theatre before teaching throughout San Francisco and Oakland. I eventually became an executive assistant for an agricultural business for over 20 years. It has always been my mission to work with youth and outreach programs focused on the improvement of communities and neighborhoods. My desire is to bring a voice to City Council for District 6 related to the long standing food desert resulting in a lack of healthy and nutritious options available in some neighborhoods. I currently provide a Pop Up food distribution of fresh food, weekly, in District 6 as a gateway to garnering a mid-week farmers’ market. I am teaming with locals to find creative and innovative ways to address the needs of youth in this “new norm” of distant living and learning. Lastly, my goal is to improve safety and ensure better police response to crime faced by our District 6 and Vallejo at large, and in order to accomplish this, I will need your help. I humbly ask for your vote.” – Cristina Arriola

Vallejo needs to improve its availability of decent food and catch up with the rest of California by having more healthy options! Focusing on the youth to accomplish this will ensure we achieve this goal! Cristina will be a great addition to City Hall!
